Back to origin

We’re all faced with all sorts of decisions to make daily. Some of these decisions are tougher than others, but that’s a matter of perspective. Some decisions are more urgent than others, although this urgency may not always be clear or apparent when we’re presented with the situation in which a decision is to be made. Whatever the situation, and whatever the decision, is there such a thing as a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ decision?  Right or wrong for whom? Who exactly decides?

Thinking about how we make a decision might not be something many of us actually do when the situation arises. But why? And is this level of mindfulness necessary to help with the decision-making process? Maybe. The way I see it is making a happy decision can only be achieved by going back to our unique point of origin when everything – for reasons we might not fully understand at the time the decision is to be made – makes perfect sense, and follow that path wherever it leads. Hopefully, that path will only lead to where one can feel the warmth in their heart, fulfilment, and satisfaction about the decision made, regardless of how that might look to the outside world. This is because if one is fulfilled, what the outside world will see is just that: fulfilment, energy, smiles and power to do anything; a grounding yet freeing kind of balance.

To gain this balance all we need to do is notice and recreate that moment of our own truth, be honest and open our hearts then let that honest point of fulfilment float to the surface,  then relive it with its entirety, engaging all senses to absorb details of the surroundings and see them in relation to that point of origin. We don’t need to consciously think about all this. It will all be recreated through the simple surrender to what the heart truly desires and is nourished by.

All we need is to be mindful of is what triggers that fulfilment. No matter how strategically attractive any decision might seem, my core motive should and can only be me, what works for me, what makes ME feel good, and everything else will follow.

What is YOUR heart truly fulfilled by? Let that guide your decisions today.
